Working with Me

I love exploring the new areas of work, thriving on collaboration with dynamic minds and expanding my own learning.

We would enjoy working together if…
✦ You are ambitious and open to others' views.
✦ You communicate clearly, even when things are not clear.
✦ You show up every time.
✦ You take the initiative to make things work.
✦ You believe in going beyond what is good enough.
✦ And you work with high optimism, agency and urgency.

How I work?

Few things about working with me

✦ I believe user experience has three layers - efficiency, beauty and comprehension, and that’s what I focus on.

✦ I prefer working on the whys of any task before jumping into any kind of solutioning. This becomes very important when assigning the task to a team member, so nothing gets lost in translation.

✦ I insist that all tasks and project requirements be shared in writing, pre-read is great, so everyone is on the same page, and we are efficient with timeboxing it.

✦ Timely and clear communication is key, so I prefer to be informed of the progress of work and when it’s not.

✦ Problem-solving isn't just for projects—it's much needed for a thriving team. I champion a culture where issues are brought into the spotlight. By voicing concerns and encouraging others to do the same. I believe it greatly helps with internal growth and efficiency.

✦ I like to help with direction early on in the project.

✦ I can always be seen with a marker (at least), love huddling up and sketching out the concept designs, flows, storyboarding or many times discussing some design concept outside of work.

✦ I am a huge fan of context setting, and have always found it to be immensely useful, be it a verbal discussion, a problem area or a review session.

✦ When working on a project, the respective key contributors are the owners; you own the timelines and are responsible for timely updates.

✦ I like to limit my feedback for the stage of progress it is on, and when I am working with the team, these expectations are discussed and set early on.

✦ I will ask questions to understand your point of view before sharing direct feedback.

✦ I will always give actionable feedback with details on structure, visual, interaction and copy. If I can’t explain my feedback with a rationale, then feel free to question it for better understanding.

✦ I expect acknowledgement and closure for all the feedback shared.

✦ I have little tolerance for low intensity.t

✦ I have a very low tolerance for people who spread negativity and speak to their co-workers disrespectfully.

I am respectful of everyone’s time and expect team members to be considerate of the same, be it time at work or time off.

✦ I have a very high regard for team members when they drive a self-initiated project, be it for a project at hand, team bonding or an area of self-growth.

✦ I am always up for a discussion on interesting topics, mountains (I used to run a travel company), plants, making physical things, beautiful houses, good walking routes and cats 🐈
